The Krasnodar, Russia native, Julia was first seen in season 8 when she moved to the U.S. to marry Brandon Gibbs. Julia’s stay in Virginia was difficult since she had been a city girl and living on the farm was not her cup of tea. Julia also didn’t get along with her in-laws but as the season ended, they all became one happy family. However, Julia’s life recently has been devoid of happiness because of the circumstances she’s been dealing with. Julia’s facing a deportation threat, her car was robbed, and her passport and money were stolen, among other things.

Julia used to have light brown, frizzy hair with blond highlights until recently. The video that Julia recorded with her hairstylist at the salon showed her getting a makeover with a hairstyle that’s not just shorter but involved Julia’s hair being dyed into a much darker shade.

Julia has worked as a professional dancer, waitress, babysitter, administrator, saleswoman, hookah girl, and fitness instructor before. But now, she wants to take bodybuilding seriously as she feels she’s ready to participate in competitions again. It could be because Julia has let her reality TV career take a backseat. That never happened and Julia is still staying in Virginia, albeit in a new house and not with Brandon’s parents.
