Akhil Akkineni was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, on April 8, 1994. His mother’s name is Amala Akkineni, and his father’s name is Akkineni Nagarjuna. Lakshmi Ramanaidu Daggubati is his half-mother, and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, a well-known south Indian actor, is his half-brother. Akhil’s grandfather is the actor Nageswara Rao. After being together for two years, Akhil Akkineni and Shriya Bhupal tied the knot on December 9, 2016. However, they broke off their engagement because of some family problems.
Akhil made his acting debut in the comedy Sisindri (1995), an Indian adaptation of Baby’s Day Out, which was his father’s production. When Akhil was in his teens, he opposed cricket and joined his father’s team at the Movie Artists’ Association’s fundraiser for the Tollywood Celebrity Trophy in 2010. He was named man of the match and man of the series for his half century finals victories over Venkatesh Daggubati’s Warriors. He was invited to play for the Telugu Warriors in the 2011 Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) due to his performances. He has continued to participate in the CCL tournament on a regular basis ever since, winning the 2015 tournament as captain of his team.

Career
In the popular 2014 family drama Manam, which starred three generations of Akkineni actors, Akkineni made a cameo appearance. The audience immediately responded positively to Akkineni’s brief cameo. He described the experience of working on the movie with his grandfather, father, and half-brother as “nervous and exciting.” One of the most successful Telugu films of 2014 was Akkineni. The film received numerous awards, including Best Film at the Filmfare Awards, after critics called it a “classic.” He then appeared in a number of commercials, most notably for Titan, Mountain Dew, and Karbonn.
In 2015, he made his acting debut in V. V. Vinayak’s Akhil. The actor took part in a stunt workshop with his personal trainer Kicha and attended workshops in Thailand for two months in order to settle into the role. The movie, which starred Nithin and debutante Sayesha Saigal, began production in December 2014 and was produced by him.
The film received mixed reviews and failed at the box office in spite of expectations. Akkineni then took a break for two years. In spite of receiving positive reviews, Akkineni’s second film, Hello, which was released in 2017 and was directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam alongside Middle-Class Abbayi, did not do well at the box office.
