POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of a wider “shared service” operation between the two departments, the Accounts Payable Team is part of the Payments Services Team within the Customer Support Branch and is primarily responsible for paying expenses incurred in relation to public housing including council rates and bin charges,

Water authority service charges, bulk gas for hot water services and public lighting electricity expenses, monthly rents to external landlords, Social Housing Big Build project purchases, and other property purchases, In addition, we also process bulk payment of invoices, distribution adjustments to reallocate expenditure, and claims for the Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS)

This position will demonstrate a high level of proficiency and expertise when undertaking a range of tasks to provide the department with an efficient and effective client focussed accounts payable function.

Mandatory Vaccination Policy
