Rubika Liyaquat, a well-known Indian journalist, was born on April 18, 1983 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. She received her early education in Udaipur. Rubika had graduated from St. Gregorian’s Senior Secondary School in Udaipur with honours. After finishing high school, she went on to complete her 12th grade in Udaipur. During her eleventh grade studies, she decided she wanted to be a journalist. Rubika moved to Mumbai after passing her intermediate exam to pursue a career in journalism.
She earned a Bachelor of Mass Media in Journalism from Mumbai University. She worked as an anchor on Mumbai’s news channel 24 for three months in 2003. Rubika received her diploma in 2005. She looked for work for about two years after graduating. She finally got a chance to work for Live India in June 2007, and she stayed there until September 2008.
Rubika’s job changed in 2008 when she joined Channel News 24 as an anchor and senior reporter. She worked for Channel News 24 for a while before receiving job offers from the popular news channel Zee News. Accepting Zee News’ offer, she joined the channel and began working for them. On this channel, she hosted a programme called Taal Thok Ke, which was broadcast on Zee News. It was a debate show that catapulted him to prominence. Rubika met renowned journalist Sudhir Chaudhary while working at Zee, and she saw Sudhir as an inspiration. Sudhir gave her the opportunity to learn a lot about the world of journalism.
