As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll become a key contributor where your skills and input make a big difference. In this role, you’ll design embedded software and development tools that will be used to test products. You’ll write code that tells chips how to operate in revolutionary new ways.

As a developer on our Toronto team, you’ll become a contributor where your skills and input impact TI products and customers. In this role, your contributions will enable Texas Instruments to deliver quality desktop and cloud products to customers for implementing, debugging, and analyzing embedded software solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
  • Knowledge of software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of at least one software engineering language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming skills in one or more Java, Javascript, Python, Linux/UNIX shell scripting, and C++ would be useful
  • Knowledge and experience working in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments would be useful
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Node.js, CSS, React and JQuery would be useful
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive result
